The process of making Alina's Areca Palm
The process of making Alina’s Areca Palm Leaf Tableware is eco-friendly, simple, and does not involve any chemicals or artificial additives. It transforms naturally fallen areca palm into biodegradable plates, bowls, trays, and more. Naturally fallen leaves are collected from areca palm plantations. No trees are cut or harmed.
The leaves are sorted and cleaned manually to remove dirt or mud and then washed thoroughly with water. The leaves are dried in the sun for several hours to remove moisture. The dried leaves are cut to the required size and pressed in heated moulds. The heating process kills bacteria, removes residual moisture and shapes the product into a plate, tray, bowl and more.
The shaped products are trimmed to remove rough or uneven edges. Final quality inspection is done to check for cracks, unevenness, or deformities. Alina's Areca Leaf Tableware are 100% natural, biodegradable and compostable. No chemicals, glue, or coatings are used. It is microwave & refrigerator safe.
